Lynn Kubrick Ciccarelli, owner of Bella Vacations, was recognized by Luxury Travel Advisor. Ciccarelli’s trip to Iceland was featured in the magazine. Ciccarelli was also selected as one of Travel Agent Magazine’s Top 25 Agents for 2010. In addition, Ciccarelli, a honeymoon specialist, was invited to submit an exclusive honeymoon vacation for consideration by the producers of the popular NBC Today Show Throws a Wedding. Her honeymoon getaway choice, Capella, Ixtapa, Mexico, was considered by the NBC producers as a top five selection.

Day 1 - Upon arrival at the Ixtapa – Zihuatanejo Airport, the Bride & Groom will be privately transferred to Capella Ixtapa. This resort is located in the heart of the lush Sierra Madre Mountains overlooking a breathtaking bay. Capella Ixtapa mixes state of the art comforts and traditional Mexican charm. Romance awaits!

 

The couple will be staying in the Oceanfront Penthouse Suite which includes a private plunge pool on their terrace overlooking the bay.

Tonight’s dinner is at A Mares Restaurant where they feature the best of modern Mexican Cuisine

Day 2 - Today will be an unforgettable romantic cruise. Along the way, you will stop to do some small game fishing. Afterwards, you will continue traveling to a remote area where your lunch will be prepared as you snorkel in the warm Pacific waters. You will then be transferred back to Capella Ixtapa.

Day 3 - Board a private plane for a beautiful site seeing flight across the Serra Madre Mountain Range. The day is filled with a stop to see an ancient Aztec ceremonial center, followed by a stop in Santa Clara del Cobre which is well known for local Arts & Crafts. There you will have time for lunch and shopping as you stroll thru town.

You will return to Capella Ixtapa late in the afternoon. This will allow you to witness the spectacular sunset over the mountains and Pacific coast while in flight!

Day 4 - This morning begins with a horseback ride along the beach of South Zihuatanejo. You will discover a coconut plantation and the beautiful unspoiled beaches of Playa Larga.

Day 5 - A day to enjoy the resort! Tonight, you will enjoy a romantic sunset cruise. After wards you will experience a special Tequila tasting followed by dinner at A Mare’s Restaurant.

Day 6 - Today’s activities include Mountain biking and snorkeling! You will leave at 8:30am accompanied by an expert guide and snorkeling instructor. Your bike route will cross the hills behind La Ropa beach then climb the mountain path. You will then descend to the ocean ending on the unspoiled Manzanillo Beach. You will have time to enjoy snorkeling in the warm Pacific waters before your return to the hotel.

Day 7 - Relax and enjoy the resort! Perhaps do a couples massage!

 

Day 8 - Today you are off to the Ixtapa Dolphinarium where you will will experience the “swim with dolphins” program. The guide will explain the highlights and give suggestions in order to make the most of the brief time you have with these incredible mammals.

Day 9 - Enjoy the resort! Special farewell dinner tonight at the Capella Ixtapa Resort.

Day 10 - VIP transfer to the airport – Your honeymoon is complete!

 

 

Bella Vacations Invited to Submit a Honeymoon to The Today Show Throws a Wedding for the Third Year in a Row

 

NBC Producers accepted submissions from Virtuoso Travel agents across the US who arranged a honeymoon for their popular summer contest “The Today Show Throws A Wedding”.  Virtuoso PR Execs review and forward submitted entries.  NBC producers chose the final four entries, and Today Show viewers  voted for the ultimate winner.

 

Ciccarelli, a honeymoon specialist, has been creating one of a kind honeymoons for almost five years as the owner of Bella Vacations in Pittsburgh.  For the 2009 contest she designed two honeymoons, a one-of-a-kind Spiritual Experience for Couples in Maya which included a Mayan Wedding Blessing and an exciting vacation to Australia which included a helicopter tour. Her 2008 submission was entitled "Dreamy Yacht Honeymoon".  The vacation began and ended in romantic Venice and included a cruise to the enchanting is Croatian Coast. The trip made the semi-finals.
